6.Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay Tunnel Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay Tunnel is located in the sea of Jiaozhou Bay, is China's Shandong Province, Qingdao City, connecting Huangdao District and Shannan District across the sea, the total length of the line 7.797 km, including 4.095 km across the sea section, officially opened to traffic on June 30, 2011.

The undersea tunnel adopts the design of an offshore immersed tube tunnel with a submarine section of about 5,664 meters, consisting of 33 giant immersed tubes and one final joint of the combined section, with a maximum installed water depth of over 40 meters.

It is one of the components of the "inner ring" of Xiamen City's "two rings and eight projections" expressway network. The Haicang Cross-Harbour Tunnel will be completed in January 2020, with a total length of 7.1 km, of which the tunnel will be about 6.4 km long.
